The AIAS Chapter at UTSA has elected it’s next chapter Board of Directors. Coming off of a successful year of growth out chapter has chosen a diverse group of students excited and inspired to take our chapter to even the next level. The elections were close and we had more members turn out to vote than in recent history. The verdict; your new board of directors are made up of, President Carlos Serreno, President Elect Jennifer Peterson, Vice President Lourdes Rodriguez, Freedom by Design Director Trent Tunks, Treasurer Michelyn Smith, Secretary Priscilla Bargas, Studio Culture Chair Alexander Ramirez, Historian Andrew Benavides, and Past President and newly elected South Quad Director Obi Okolo.

These student leaders will spend the next 6 months transitioning into their new position. Working along side the current board to learn all of their roles and responsibilities. Their official first date in their new positions is July 25th of this year, while attending the AIAS Grassroots conference in Washington D.C.
